Museum of Computer Science and Technology of the University of Latvia

The Museum of Computer Science and Technology was founded in 1984. The permanent exhibition briefly illustrates the history of automatic computing and provides a full account of the introduction of modern computer technologies and the development of computer science in Latvia since the late 1950s. It includes a great number of the first computing and data processing devices used in Latvia (mainly from the former Computing Centre of the University of Latvia) as well as an interesting collection of minicomputers and early personal computers.
